Planning ahead....

I spent quite a bit of time yesterday thinking about SALs for 2016 and picking charts I want to do.

I don't know if  A New Stitchy Start is going to continue next year. I hope so but I haven't heard. It's been great following everyone's progress this year. I will definitely continue to work on my HAED from that group.

But I kind of want to join another one or two. I'm thinking the smalls SAL hosted by Heather at Stitching Lotus. I have ordered a monthly set of charts that would work for this. Or who knows I might find other smalls to do!

I also think it would be fun to stitch one that everyone in the group is also stitching. But I'm not sure what SAL to choose. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. I want to get everything ready before the new year starts.

  1. The only sals im part of are new stitchy start, gifted gorgeousness and stitch from stash. You could always organize one! I'll look into joining more when I finish my wip

  2. I'm planning ahead for next year too, but do not intend to do any Challenges or SALs apart from Debbie's Crazy January Challenge and Stitch from Stash. I'll be stitching a Lizzie Kate Tiny Tiding Christmas ornament each month but not joining any blogs or SALs to do so - it's just for my own benefit.
There are loads of SALs out there, it just depends what you want to stitch and when. The Smalls SAL is a good idea, as is Gifted Gorgeousness. There's also a Margaret Sherry Lovers blog and Stitching My First HAED Design blog if you want to join in. Or, as Heather suggested, you can always start your own SAL. The options are practically endless and the internet your oyster!
Have fun choosing and please do let us know what you decide to do. :)
