For the birds

Four Seasons Birds update for June.

I only added about 100 stitches to the fall birds this month.

And I think July will be even fewer. We will be moving and I'll be out of town visiting my mom and son for  a while. I think the birds will be packed away.

The only stitching I am committing to right now is my monthly small. I do hope to work on my rag rug and maybe one other surprise project.

Hang in there with me, I'm certain my crafty, stitching bug will return some day and then this blog just might be filled with daily crafty updates again.

June smalls

I'm linking up with Heather at Stitching Lotus for the Smalls SAL.  Be sure to visit all the other wonderful stitchers.

This month I started this frog trio from Dementions. I will be counting each frog as a small finish.

May smalls

I almost forgot!

It's time (past time actually) to post my May small stitch.  Thank goodness we had a few extra days to link up with Heather at Stitching Lotus.

April Birds update

I made a little progress on my Birds this month. I'm anxious to get this one done.

Last month:

This month:

April Smalls

It's that time again. Time to show off our small stitches. Please visit Heather at Stitching Lotus to see what every one has been working on this month.

This month I chose another Bucilla chart. It's called Our Home Mason Jar.

At first I thought it was super cute and would fit nicely in my rustic kitchen. But afterstitching it I realized that the colors are all wrong for my kitchen.  I may re stitch it in different colors.

March Smalls

It's the last Friday of the month, and that means it's time to check in on the Smalls SAL hosted by Heather at Stitching Lotus.

I started the month with plans to stitch two smalls. Due to some unexpected time in the hospital for my husband,  it just didn't happen.  In fact I didn't stitch at all on my other project.

I did manage to get this little one done and will be making it into a card for my grandson's 3rd birthday.

It's a Bucilla chart and was quick and easy to finish.
