May went by a lot faster than I had expected. All this stitching wasn't good for my step count, but let's look at the stitch count.

I loved this little (big?) challenge! I know in June I won't get as much done because we've just bought a house and will be moving. But the plan is to still get at least 1200 a week.

Can't wait until the next Stitch Maynia.  I'll still be working on this piece for sure.

Once again I got all my stitches in, and I'm loving how this looks. I'm going to continue Maynia through the end of the month.

*223 stitches short of my goal this week.

Even though I didn't reach 2018 stitches this week, I'm very happy with it. I only put in 75 stitches on Friday and if I had done my usual 300-500 hundred,  I would have been right on track.

Stitch Maynia?

Yesterday I was telling my husband that May first starts Stitch Maynia. I explained when it started and what stitchers did that first year and how each year it has changed just a little bit. He asked what I was going to do.

What? I hadn't even considered doing anything.  I am not sure how I'm going to feel, we are preparing for a move and I don't have enough stash to start 18 new things AND "it starts tomorrow!"

He said that if we wait for everything to be perfect,  we'd never do anything. He also said that since stitchers were adapting it to fit what they needed, then I could too.

So his idea is since it's 2018, and I'm only stitching on one major project, for me to stitch 2018 stitches every week in May on my Dragon.

That's a lot of stitches every week and will be an impressive amount of stitches at the end of May! Challenge accepted.
